6 Months!!!!!!

At 6 months Peanut:

~ weighs about 18 lbs

~ is about 28 inches long

~Is obsessed with rolling onto his tummy, but can't remember how to roll back

~Still hates falling asleep. But once he's actually asleep, it's usually for a long time. He's pretty grumpy right after he wakes up (like his momma)

~ Can sit up on his own (until something interesting comes along)

~ Favourite word is "bababababababab"

~ Has his 2 bottom teeth and is just cutting one on the top! 

~ Is a little unsure about eating "real food". He loved rice cereal, but now is pretty indifferent to it. Hates applesauce. Thinks avocado is alright. Mostly, he just likes to eat so he can blow raspberries with the food. Messy boy...

~ Still squeals like a madman. Mostly when extremely happy, or when extremely upset. 

~Has discovered he has ears, which means he spends a lot of time flapping them with his hand

~Puts absolutely everything he can get his hands on in his mouth

~Reaches for the person he wants to hold him (and makes my heart melt each time he does)

I seriously cannot believe that it's his half-birthday already. These past 6 months have sure been a huge learning curve, but every time I see his adorable little smile, or spend a minute cuddling, or watch him try something new, my heart bursts with love. I can't even imagine what our life was like before him. Can't wait to see what amazing thing he is onto next!

P.S. excuse the excessive picture post...we just got a new lens, and Hubby and I were trying it out, along with my new skills I learned from my photo course I took. Plus, the model is inspiring.
